My art journey was never part of a clear career plan.

During my career break, I picked up a little here and there whenever I had time—Photoshop, digital drawing with Procreate, hand drawing, jewelry making, and stitching.

I’m not an expert in any one area. I simply enjoy mixed media and putting different pieces together.

For a long time, those experiences felt like separate puzzle pieces. I didn’t know where they were leading. I just kept learning, creating, meeting inspiring people, and trusting that God had placed me on this journey.

Maybe career transition isn’t always about having everything figured out. Sometimes it’s about staying open and continuing to take the next small step.

Just a Bay Area mom taking a career break, spending some time in Hawaiʻi, and wondering what might come next.

Between school drop-offs and pickups, she found herself going back to school in many ways—on campus, online, and through everything she saw and heard around her.

Like the mixed media she has always enjoyed, those small experiences slowly began coming together.

Now she’s back in the Bay Area, continuing to learn and making a little progress every day. 🌊

Hi! I’m Jessica and just joined the community. 🌸

I’m a mom of three, living and working in Silicon Valley and creating from home. I’m a Creative Tech + Artist who loves pets, plants, fashion, kids, and Hawaiʻi. I work with Silicon Valley founders by day and create colorful Hawaiʻi-inspired designs in my creative time.

During my career transition, I finally launched the Hawaiʻi-inspired brand I had been thinking about for years. 🌺

Life took me from Hawaiʻi back to the Bay Area and through a career break, where I picked up new interests in art, crafts, and digital marketing. Eventually, those experiences—along with working with founders and startups—connected me back to something I had wanted to create for a long time, but had put on hold while focusing on family.

I’ve learned that sometimes a career transition isn’t about starting completely over. It’s about connecting the little pieces you’ve collected along the way.

Now I’m turning those life moments into a lifestyle brand—inspired by Hawaiʻi and motivated by the energy of Silicon Valley. 🌺🌉
