Six months ago, our world changed in an instant when my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. 40 years old and zero symptoms besides upper abdominal pain.
Since then, life has been a balancing act I never could have imagined — navigating a new baby, running a business, and trying to be everything my family needs while watching someone I love so dearly fight the hardest battle of his life.
Some days have felt impossibly heavy. There have been moments of fear, exhaustion, uncertainty, and wondering how we would manage it all. But even in the hardest seasons, there is room for hope. Hope for more time, for better days, for healing, and for the beautiful moments we still have ahead of us.
This journey has also shown me just how important community, support, and connection truly are. We are so grateful for the people who have walked alongside us, lifted us up, and reminded us that we are not alone.
That is why I want to share an opportunity to support Sea of Hope, a colorectal cancer support group in Point Washington. We invite you to join for a silent auction fundraiser benefiting this incredible community and the families navigating the challenges of colorectal cancer.
Whether you attend, bid on an item, or simply help spread the word, every bit of support matters. 💙
Cancer may have changed our lives in ways we never expected, but it has also reminded us to hold our people closer, find joy in the little things, and never stop believing in hope.
From our family to yours, thank you for the love, prayers, encouragement, and support. We hope you’ll join us in supporting Sea of Hope and the families who need it most.
Together, we can turn some of the hardest moments into a little more hope.
