I built this badge display for the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Academy. All of these badges are designated for each academy recruit upon successful completing of their 16 week academy class. The current recruits have blank badges for now. At their graduation, their designated badge will be pinned on their uniform.

I needed some more space for my challenge coins since my current display flag was full. I ripped three shelves tonight, ran them over my router table, burned them and clear coated them. I attached them to my whiskey shelf display flag and this is how it turned out.

I had some scrap walnut so I made this pen holder. I cut a slant and used spent .223 casings to hold business cards. I’ll be making more things with some walnut logs I have. I can make more of these if anyone would be interested. $40 for one of these.
