Take a look inside our recent installation in Dobbs Ferry.
This 1912 Spanish-style home had everything we love to work with — dramatic scale, original woodwork, terracotta floors, an incredible limestone fireplace, and a living room that feels more like a hall than a room.
But homes like this can be tricky…when there is already this much character, adding more is usually the wrong move.
We worked closely with the homeowners to declutter, organize, simplify, paint, repair, and rework the flow of each space.
Then we layered in what was missing: softer textures, warmer lighting, cleaner sightlines, better scale, and just enough furniture and styling to make each room feel intentional without distracting from the architecture.
The goal was not to make the house feel staged — it was to make it feel effortless.
And that feeling matters — the home received multiple offers and went into contract within 5 days!!
The homeowner mentions “their vision played a pivotal role in the quick sale of our home. Their hard work and thoughtful staging made a huge difference” 🩷
