Well, here is one last picture of Remember When..taken on the morning of the last day of business. Weather was a little foggy and misty. In a year or so, this building won't look like this anymore. Short history: my wife Sally and I opened the shop ten Christmases ago; she retired from a 30 year career in retail management to run our dream antique shop. She got sick several years later and had to go on dialysis. She didn't want my parents burdened with running the shop so she had me start the paperwork for my retirement from teaching. After putting in 30 years of teaching, I was able to retire at the end of 2020 ( and we all know about that year that changed the world). Sally was able to be spared all of that because she passed away in 2019, the dialysis being too hard on her body. I took over running the shop full time from my parents, grateful for their help during those years. Thanks to everyone who supported our shop and special thanks to all of our great vendors....I hope you had fun. I'll probably keep this site here for awhile before deleting as this is my final post. Thanks again.
