Beautifully remodeled kitchen of a client in Denver. So happy to see that she kept the Hunter Douglas Duettes on the windows and the Vertiglide over the sliding glass door. We softened the look by adding a custom valance and side panels. The family room Duettes are motorized. No need to climb over the couch to raise and lower them!

A client in Denver recently contacted me in reference to adding additional Silhouette shades to her entry and living room. She realized that the sunlight blazing through the bare upper windows was potentially harming an heirloom painting. During the measuring and ordering process I find that her fabric is discontinued. Hunter Douglas finds some back-stock and we are back in business. Silhouettes are made in Colorado so from the time I placed the order to actual installation only ONE WEEK had passed. Now that is good service!

Coincidentally, if you believe in coincidences, I received a second photo yesterday from a client with the same floor plan as yesterday's post. What are the odds? When meeting with a client you have to really listen to what specific function and aesthetic the window coverings need to meet. In this case the client wanted the windows totally uncovered during the day to enjoy her mountain views. Instead of addressing each window we decided on beautiful Skyline Panels for a sleek modern look. Two different clients, same floor plan, different needs met. Check it out!

Just received a photo from a satisfied customer in the Greater Denver area. During the initial consultation she indicated that her neighbors could see into her upstairs loft area via the high windows in her family room. She did not want a covering that darkened the room and needed some way to operate the upper window treatments. We settled on the PowerView motorized Nantucket Window Shadings. Plenty of privacy and controlled with the remote or via her IOS device. The vanes close and open whenever the client wishes. She has set up different programs for when they are out of town making it seem as if someone is home. Smart technology rocks!
