*Scholarship Donation

As many of you know already, I’m a firm believer in Paying It Forward. And we did just that today. In a joint effort between the Sunday Sewcial Volunteer Quilters, The Senior Stitchers and Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop, LLC.

Sunday Sewcial volunteers donated one of 3 quilts, I donated one, and the quilt shop donated one.

The Senior Stitchers volunteered and coordinated the Quilt Raffle by selling tickets, even outside in the heat and rain.

Collectively, we raised $1,279!! 100% of these proceeds will go towards the ‘Get Your Stitch On!’ At Marshall University Foundation and Alumni Association.

Here’s a video of us doing the drawing earlier today. Congratulations to the 3 lucky quilt winners: Stefanie Corbett, Kiz Janene Metz, and Jenny Burdette!

Thanks to all of you that bought raffle tickets to help support this very worthy cause. And for helping all of us to, Pay It Forward.

Road Trip!

Warren and I had a very successful 5 day road trip to: BabyLock Tech in St Louis, the Moda Warehouse Sale in Dallas, and then we stopped at Choice Fabrics Warehouse in Springfield, TN!

So after driving through 10 states, over 2 time zones, in 5 days, the money we saved on shipping covered the cost of the trip!
