*Just wanted to remind everyone that we are open today and tomorrow, Sat 05/23 from 9am-7pm. But in honor of the Memorial Day Holiday Weekend, Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop, LLC will be closed on Sun & Mon 5/24-25, so that my staff and I can be off to spend a couple days with our families & friends. And to remember those we've lost during this special holiday.

*Next week on Thursday, May 28, I'll be starting another Beginner Quilting 1 Series for 4 consecutive weeks. Each of the 4 classes will be on Thursdays from 2-5pm. *This past Saturday, we had a great time learning how to make the "Double Aster" quilt block, which was originally published back in 1936! I taught these students how to make the block, while Chef Warren prepared a fun picnic-like Brunch for everyone to enjoy! Take a look!

2026 All Blue Ridge Shop Hop

We are excited to kick off the first day of the 2026 All Blue Ridge Shop Hop, here at Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop, LLC! This is a two-month long shop hop with participating shops in WV, VA and NC.

For those of you traveling from afar, it might help to know that Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop is open 7 days/week! Our regular business hours are Mon-Sat 9am-7pm and Sun 10am-5pm.

Not to mention, I'll be hosting 3 different Retreats between now and next February, 2027! The August 'Summer Camp With The Redneck Quilter™' is completely booked already. You can choose to join me for my Retreat in Mineral Wells in November. Or meet me in Atlantic Beach, NC next February, 2027 at the Doubletree - ON the beach!

Classes ALL Weekend at Bolts & Quarters!

As many of you know, we offer over 250 classes a year here at Bolts & Quarters Quilt Shop, LLC. And we're currently in the process of updating the Spring & Summer Classes List now. Stay tuned as we have several new classes that we'll be offering very soon!

This past weekend, both Classroom 1 and 2 were kept occupied and busy! I'm so thankful to have the largest design wall in the world that allows our students to design and hang their class projects on.

The first set of pics attached here are from two groups of my Beginner Quilting 1 class series. I think they all did a great job, learning the basics and fundamentals of quilting. Now on to BQ2!

The next set of pics are of the completed projects that my students made as part of my "Fall 2025 Mystery Quilt Class Series". The original pattern is called "September Sun" designed by Jinny Beyer, but with a few modifications, edits and tuckerizing many of the units with Deb Tucker's Studio 180 Design Tools. Also, they each made a "mystery dessert" and shared with each other during their last class. They then had to guess who made which dessert as a fun guessing game. Congrats to Jo Wigglesworth for guessing the most correct matches!

The 3rd set of pics are works in progress. My customer Erin is teaching her "One Block Wonder" class series again for the 3rd time. She is teaching her students how to use the Studio 180 Design - Star 60® Tool to cut out their 60 degree diamonds from 6 panels that go around the 7th whole panel. I think they are doing an amazing job and I can't wait to see their class projects completed!
