Sometimes, flowers come in imperfect. They are like us, beautiful even when they are flawed. These gorgeous lavender spray roses came in this week, I opened the pack to find the petals detaching easily from the heads. I knew I could not put them in arrangements, but they are still so lovely!
Many factors cause this, mainly weather happenings while flowers are still growing at the farms, and other things such as biological factors, cause some flowers to come in bruised or with petals that fall like rain. They are still beautiful.
These will make lovely rose petal boxes, perfect for scattering at a special event, or at your front door before a loved one comes home. They are biodegradable confetti, they are a romantic gesture to toss upon fresh sheets, they perfect for the small handfuls of a flower child as they toss petals freely down the isle to grace the pathway for a loving couple's wedding.

If you do purchase a box of rose petals, please do NOT eat them or scatter in a bath. These roses are beautiful, but they are NOT food grade. Though technically non-toxic to children, adults and most of us mammals, they are not a good healthy snack unless they are certified food grade. 🌹
