So absolutely floored and honored to have placed NINTH out of over 1100 entries in Forest & Fawn’s Mythology Writing Challenge. Creative endeavors of any kind are rewarding but it’s thrilling to be seen and appreciated for storytelling with words when I spend most days making stories visually. I took this challenge on because I love fantasy writing and hadn’t stretched those wings in about 25 years. Gobsmacked and delighted to be recognized. They were just sitting on my counter for weeks, untouched. Happy accident or intentional drift…happy to celebrate 🏳️‍🌈 with krispie treats. If you have never tried them they are about 200% more sugar but sassy on the tongue.

When your country takes a huge dump on Democracy the remedy is action. And if you can’t fix a broken election result then demo the s**t out of your bathroom. It feels better. And though it will get a lot worse before it gets better, we will persist. We are just under construction.
