Yesterday I had the opportunity to purchase a collection of vintage linens from a friend. She is in her 70’s and these were her grandmother’s. They have been tucked away in her mother’s hope chest until now. Aren’t they beautiful? The embroidery work is so well done and several of them have shades of orange for a vintage autumnal feel. I look forward to cleaning and ironing them and offering them in my Etsy Shop, PrettyVintageLinens.

Vintage seashells and more coming to my shop at the Uptown Antique Market this Thursday. How do I know these seashells are vintage? I purchased them from my friend Jim whose mother in law moved them here in the 1970’s from New York State and they’ve been in storage ever since. As we have unpacked boxes some of the newspaper is from 1979.
