I’ve learned something important in business: not every attack deserves a response. 💯✨
Recently, another small business has chosen to publicly and conspicuously take shots at mine. 👀 I could respond. I could match energy. I could say plenty. 💅
But I won’t. 🙅♀️
I’m too busy building. 💗💪✨
And unfortunately, it hasn’t stopped with comments about my business. There has also been a continued pattern of watching, following, and reaching out around the affiliates who have chosen to work with my company. 👀📱
Here’s the thing: I’m not worried about competition. I’m focused on building relationships. 🤝💖
My affiliates aren't numbers to me. I'm building with them~not using them, competing over them, or treating them like property. 💕🙌 I want to see them grow right alongside this company, and I’m incredibly thankful for every person who has chosen to be part of what we’re creating. 🌱💗✨
While some people spend their time watching what others are doing 👀, talking about other businesses 🗣️, and worrying about who is working with whom, I’d rather put that energy into my customers, my team, my products, my website, my storefront, and the future of Scented Serenity. 🛍️💻🏪💕🚀
I am incredibly proud of how far this little business has come. 🥹💗 It didn’t happen overnight. It came from long days ☀️, late nights 🌙, mistakes, lessons, prayers 🙏, risks, hard work 💪, and refusing to quit when things got difficult.
And here’s something I firmly believe: 💯👇
You don’t have to dim somebody else’s light to make yours shine brighter. ✨💡💖
There is room for all of us to succeed. 🙌💕 I genuinely hope every small business owner finds their customers, their footing, and their success. 🌸👏
As for me? I’m going to keep my eyes forward 👀➡️, thank God for every door He has opened 🙏🚪, love on the people who support us 💗, pour into the affiliates who are building alongside us 🤝🌱, and keep growing what I started. 🚀✨
No public feud. 🚫🗣️
No back-and-forth. 🚫↔️
No mudslinging. 🚫💩
Just growth, gratitude, and business as usual. 🌱🙏💗✨
Because sometimes the classiest response is simply continuing to succeed. 👑
