Our design philosophy centers on guidance. Guiding you through life’s most exciting transitions—whether renovating, relocating, building, or simply refreshing your coastal dream home—is what we do best. And we know that the experience of transition is different for every single person. Every client, every home, every dream is different, and that's precisely why I tailor my approach to fit your uni

que vision and needs. Are you looking to breathe new life into your space, or perhaps make thoughtful updates that reflect your evolving lifestyle? Whatever your goals, I’m here to ensure the process is seamless and enjoyable. Your journey is about more than just transitioning to new surroundings; it’s about stepping into a new life. And with all the details taken care of, you can focus on enjoying this incredible process with the peace of mind that an expert guide is by your side. That’s what design for coastal living is all about.

What you see before the pretty part.

A lot of design happens long before the room starts looking finished. Layouts get adjusted, materials are compared, dimensions are checked and decisions are made in an order that keeps everything moving.

This part may not always make the final reveal, but it’s usually where the work really starts coming together.

It’s one of my favorite parts of the process.

Not every bathroom needs to be loud to make an impact.

This one came together through a mix of quiet details that still feel special: soft green tile, warm wood shelving, clean-lined cabinetry and black fixtures for contrast.

Fresh, functional and pulled together in a way that feels calm the moment you walk in.

Turns out, keeping everything pays off.

This 20-year-old project notebook is back out as renovations are starting to pop up for this home.

Paint schedules, tile orders, sketches, receipts, measurements, selections, notes… all those little details that felt important then are pretty valuable now.

A fun reminder that good design documentation never really goes out of date.

Sometimes the prettiest choice still isn’t the right choice.

A cabinet door, fabric, tile or fixture can look beautiful all on its own.

But my job is to look past the individual piece and ask:

Does it work with everything else?
Does it make sense for the way the room will be used?
Does it help tell the story we’re trying to create?

Because a room rarely comes together from one perfect selection.

It comes together when all the choices start making sense together.

The best design projects start with a little honesty, a little trust and a willingness to have some fun with it.

Tell me the real budget. Show me what you absolutely do NOT like. Be open to an idea you may not have considered. And most importantly, let’s create a home that feels like you, not everyone else.

Those are some pretty big green flags in my book.

Good design isn’t about filling a room with pretty things. It’s about knowing what to layer, what to simplify and where to add the detail that makes the whole space feel special.

That’s always the goal: a home that feels collected, comfortable + completely yours.

Day 1 🤩

A drive to NC, lunch, 8 showrooms and dinner… I’d say I packed it in!

Lots of walking, looking, touching, measuring and having fun. And one of the best parts? Being surrounded by other designers who get just as excited about all of this as I do. It seriously feels like Christmas!

So many good finds already and this was only the first day! Curating some special pieces for upcoming client projects and bringing plenty of inspiration back to the shop.

Check back and see what unfolds tomorrow!

If August 2019 me and August 2026 me sat together in the same room, they’d never believe each other.

Seven years. Three moves. So many pivots, lessons, risks and seasons of figuring it out as I went.

Different homes + cities, different chapters, different versions of me.

How wild to think back on how every move and every change shaped what came next.

Feeling so thankful be here, in this now.

Worn once and the white is already dirty. So it’s navy shirts from here on out.

Anyone else incapable of keeping a white shirt clean, or is it just me?
