Ok, this is going to be a Public Service Announcement. If you are looking for someone to work on your Home, Car or business please keep this in mind.
Had a potential customer who was searching for a locksmith. Told us what he needed and we quoted for the work to be done. He chose a company off marketplace, don't get me wrong there are plenty of good locksmiths on Marketplace.
This company when called, had a call center answer his query. He was routed to several local "locksmiths" of which none had company names. The Call center was answering on behalf of a "fictitious company" going under the name of 24/7 Locksmiths. They even advertised in his home area, but weren't from his area. They showed up in an SUV type station wagon strewn with tools. They did the job, and were gone. Issue was, they quoted for an OEM Key for his vehicle which he did not get for the price quoted. Plus they are not vetted in any way, basically "ghosts".
Here's where I have an issue. They are working to protect/help with your security in mind. How can they be trusted to withhold your "keycode" , programming info, layout of your house, car, etc....? When they can't even be honest about 'who' they are.
These people are preying upon unsuspecting would be victims , as they are in sometimes very precarious situations ie...lost all keys, locked out of their homes, need locks rekeyed due to personal situations, employee won't give back keys, someone stole their keys waiting to pounce, etc..
DONT put yourself in harms way just because the price sounds amazing. The saying holds true in this instance, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.... just saying , Protect yourself, your family . Im attaching a Google search that you can do for yourself. And if you find yourself in need of a Locksmith, please consider us to help you out.
