Pictured here is a 1916-S I believe is on a light planchet. It appears to weigh 2.8 grams.
In my mind the coin is in pretty good shape given that it's 110 years old, but certainly not anywhere near MS 65. What's your opinion?
The reverse seems to have some faint stamping as well. I've seen faint stamping on the reverse of many of these wheat pennies but I've yet to learn how to tell between normal wear, die deterioration, or struck through grease.
