Motherhood has never been just one thing. It’s being needed in a hundred different ways at once and carrying all the reminders in an already-cluttered mind while not losing yourself along the way.

When I changed careers years ago, I honestly didn’t know what life would look like next. What I did know was that I wanted more time with our kids. More flexibility. More moments I didn’t have to miss. More left in my emotional well.

My art became that bridge for me.

What started as something creative slowly became an attempt to build a different kind of life — one where I could chase something meaningful while still contributing and being present for school pickups, sick days, sports schedules, and all the little moments that matter more than we realize at the time.

Some days motherhood feels beautiful. Some days it feels exhausting. Most days, it’s both at once.

To EVERY mom and caretaker doing the balancing act, carrying the mental load, sacrificing, loving fiercely, and showing up even when you’re tired — I see you.

Thank you to my kids for reminding me why I do what I do and to a supportive partner who has always had my back. Thank you to my own mom who showed me what it means and takes to be a good mom. 🤍

We LOVE you, teachers, and we are so grateful for the dedication you pour into our kids. We're making Teacher Appreciation Week last a little longer (as it should!).

I've always said it should be in February when, on top of everything else, they are battling dreary weather, low student motivation, and their own exhaustion - not May when there are already a million things going on and summer is so close we can taste it! Hope you're all doing okay during a very busy time of year. :)
