Crowned for His Glory Hat Collection was divinely inspired. I don't know why I started making these hats, except for the Lord. I was in my sewing room one day working on my up-cycled fashion pieces and I had some plain hats stacked on my desk. The Lord gave me the idea to dress these hats up with vintage quilt pieces, doilies, fabrics, and jewels. So I stopped sewing and started working on hats. I remember saying to the Lord, "I am supposed to be sewing right now Lord, why are we making these hats?" and the Lord answered, "Because they are crowns for my glory". I enjoyed creating these hats the rest of the day, just me and Jesus. He would give me the most marvelous ideas and before I knew it I had several hats made up. I took them to a show I was participating in and everyone seemed to love them. I sold several that day. That's my story and the beginning of Crowned for His Glory Hats.

It was so hard to photograph how good this all turned out. The glare of the lights made it difficult, but to say I am pleased is an understatement. I absolutely love how these vintage and pre loved treasures turned out.
