It’s go time.

To be far, there is always something to do here. But we are prepping to plant every weekend for what feels like infinity.

The key to having blooms all season is planning, seeding and weekend after weekend of hard work.

Perspective is a funny thing.

If I’m being honest, just a few years ago I would have run from this baby or attempted to remove him all together. The dandelion he’s feeding on would have been a terrible nuisance to our perfectly groomed green sod suburban front yard.

Now? I took a minute to sit with him and watched him work. Thankful we were in the space together and hoping he sticks around all season.

What sometimes is the pest is actually the friend and what is ugly to one is a source of life to another.

Or something deep and profound like that.
