This antique Victorian walnut dressing chest was purchased from Tarn & Co London in the late 1800ā€™s. William Tarn was known for sourcing only the best silks, furs, rugs and furniture and soon became the largest retailer in the area, earning the neighborhood nickname ā€œPiccadilly of the Southā€

**Today, Thursday, October 1st, is the last day for donations. Thank you to all who have donated!! **

We know by now most are aware of the wildfire burning in Oak Mountain State Park.

For days now first responders, the forestry commission, county employees, and park staff have been giving their all trying to keep residents close to the blaze and our park safe. Our hearts are with them all šŸ«¶

Is there any interest from the community to help us give back? We collecting bottled water and/or drinks with electrolytes to keep those risking their own personal safety going, pre-packaged snacks or individually wrapped food items for them to carry with them as they fight the flames, or any other items that would be appreciated by the crews fighting the fire.

We are collecting any items donated to the response team at the Front Gate at the park. Any left over items donated would be sent back to responding precincts, and if any items are still left they would be donated to a local food bank.

Please join us if youā€™d like to contribute and show your gratitude to those responding šŸ«¶
