This came up in my memories from 2016. Top left is the finished result. I even remember who I sold it to. Before I started my page. Before I knew which direction I was headed. It’s fun to look back and see how far I’ve come - how quickly after I settled into my own style and the types of pieces I work on today. Growth is so important. Remember and embrace your roots. All original hardware. Blue paint removed from the wood. Repaired, finished and sealed. Interior cleaned. Lots of character!

Sunday. We do what we can. Simple primitive bench. Sanded her down, took off the red paint. Super heavy, that old growth wood…nothing like it. It’s why I will snag this and any other piece with it every time.

Quick flip - needs a finishing coat.
