Jeff Balke is an entrepreneur, writer, voice actor and upcoming producer/director of his own animations. He founded his own animation studio, Jeff Balke Studios, which focuses on 2D Animation (both traditional and digital Animation). He’s created a number of characters, but is best known for Stanley and Friends (Stanley Squirrel, Natasha Squirrel, Chester, Baby Fang, Billy Billington and Bandit). Be sure to stop by his booth and buy some art!

C'mon on out to Five Flags Event Center in downtown Dubuque IA Sunday around 1:00pm! We want to see your cosplay! And don't forget you might win $50 (if you are in costume)! Please share this to people you know who might be interested in being a part of this event.
RANDOM COSPLAYER ENTRYS COULD WIN $50!
Cosplay Parade around 1:00. We will start sign up around 12:30pm at the Ghostbuster table.
This will not be a contest! This socially distanced parade WILL feature random cosplayers winning $50 gift certificate. $50 gift card can be spent at any of the vendors & artists throughout the event.
The process will be simple. Starting at 12:30pm we will get your details (your character, what fandom you are from, details on the cosplay you would like people to know, where you are from), then (around 1:00pm) each person will line up (socially distanced), and we will have each cosplayer hit center stage to strike a pose for a quick picture. After we go through the line, we will get a group photo. Even if you are not a part of the individual cosplay picture op, we hope everyone in costume will be a part of the group picture and parade.
Reminder: Please note this will be a parade/photo op, and not a contest.
Please understand that our event is not a "big" convention (typically about 500 attendees over the course of the show), but it's a way for us to celebrate geekdom.
Remember to always be courteous to those in cosplay. Do NOT go up to a person and assume that they will want to take a picture with you. Always ask for permission. Also - when getting a picture with a cosplayer - never touch a cosplayer inappropriately. If this happens - cosplayers should immediately find staff, security, or volunteer and let them know, so that it can be addressed. We strive to have a safe, fun, family friendly event. Your help is needed in making sure that we meet these goals.
