Have you ever bought grocery store flowers and watched them wilt by Tuesday? 🥀

It usually isn’t your fault! It comes down to how those stems were treated the exact second they came off the delivery truck. When we process our blooms, we never skip the fundamentals.
Here are the 3 steps the grocery store skips (and why our flowers last twice as long):

1. The Clean Bucket Standard 🪣
Grocery store flowers often sit in murky, bacteria-filled water for days. We rigorously sanitize every single bucket before fresh water and professional-grade nutrients go in. Zero bacteria = longer-lasting blooms.

2. The Immediate, Sharp Cut ✂️
When flowers ship, their stems dry up and seal shut. The second we unbind them, we give every single stem a fresh, sharp cut with professional floral shears. Dull scissors (or skipping the cut entirely) crushes the stem so it can’t drink. Sharp shears open their “veins” so they can hydrate instantly.

3. The 24-Hour Rest 💧
We never design with flowers the second they arrive. We let our blooms hydrate and “wake up” in a cool, climate-controlled environment for at least a full day before they ever go into a bouquet.
Floristry isn’t just making things look pretty. It is a strict science of hydration, sanitation, and care!
