What’s happening in the pocket? Sun printing and handpainting some baby bodysuits! Planning to get them to Franklin Corner in Dwight before Harvest Days. Right now they are just blowing in the wind!

Look what’s happening in the Pocket today! I’m trying to turn a creepy mannequin head into a whimsical planter.
1st step: dig out styrofoam out of top of head to make room for a plant/planter
2nd step: spend HOURS cleaning up all the styrofoam that is blowing around EVERYWHERE!
3rd step: apply “stuff”. I used SculptCrete. Works like clay and dries like cement. No kiln firing needed.
4th step. Smooth it out and mess with it until you are happy with shape and contours. (I shaped the mouth at least 10 times)
5th step: let it dry

A cool, cloudy, rainy day put me in the mood to make candles. Best tip I’ve figured out is to use cheap plastic combs to hold the wicks straight.
