Learn how to apply pan pastels or artists chalks over a glazed piece to create a soft, porcelain-like finish, similar to Precious Moments. This piece was glazed, fired, and then sprayed with a matte spray to take away the sine and texture, making the chalk stick.

Another truck run for shelving units.

This year has been a little crazy. We started off the year thinking we were headed in one direction with the business, and then had to pivot when things didn't go as planned (sometimes what you want isn't the best for you). We are harvesting the lemons and turning those babies into the best damn lemonade you will ever taste. We may even add a little strawberry :-)

I prefer underglaze on greenware, but others have used stroke and coat on bisque. To me, its like nails on a chalk board.

Either way, still a very cool process. I love the contrast of dark and light.
