It’s official!! I’m now a Registered Cottage Food Producer in Minnesota 🥹💜

Which means Treasures of the Fiber can now legally bake and sell goodies made with love, care, and a whole lot of intention.

Baking for others has been a long-time dream of mine, and honestly, something I’ve already been doing quietlt for years. Between holidays, events, care packages, and “you made what?” moments, baking has always been one of the ways I show love.

With Matt and I staying closer to home this year and focusing more on production with Treasures of the Forest, the timing finally lined up to make it official.

So I’m sharing a few throwback photos here too, little reminders that this isn’t brand new, just finally stepping into the light 🧁🍪

And I’m really excited to keep building from here.

Coming home today felt a little like Christmas morning as I walked in to find my new tools had arrived!

Since we decided to give sugar cookies a shot (edible minis, anyone? 👀🍪), I’ve been absolutely filled with childlike excitement. I’ve officially been absorbing all things sugar cookies and royal icing; watching videos, Googling nuances, and learning techniques as fast as my brain will allow.

These are my very first attempts at royal icing cookies (go easy on me 😅), but honestly? I’m kinda obsessed already.

From mixing icing and learning consistency, to flooding, piping, and accidentally shaking sprinkles like the crowd rushing the field… this really feels like the start of a whole new adventure for TotF² 🎉

Not perfect. Definitely still learning. But I’m excited to see where this goes next.

Matt Sime and I are stepping into the next chapter in our journey, and I’m finally giving some long-held dreams room to grow.

For years, I’ve wanted to bake for others. Pre pandemic I would bake for coworkers, that helped, but since, I've truly missed it. With us staying closer to home this year to focus more on production with Treasures of the Forest, that time has finally opened up… and I’m so excited for it.

I’ll admit, it feels wrong to say this out loud, but if you’ve ever had my baking before, you’ll probably agree I do a pretty dang good job at it 😅 (growth is saying that without immediately apologizing, right?)

So… if you’re in need of baked goods, for events, gifts, celebrations, or just because, hit me up!

I’ll be digging through old photos of past bakes to share, but I’m also very open to trying new things at least once.
