My grandfather was an electrician in the USNavy during Korea. After his service, he opened his own business in 1953 or '54, Hynes TV and Radio. At some point it evolved into Hynes TV and Appliance--long before the big box stores--until his death in June 1970. My father reminded me that there hasn't been another Hynes business until I started mine. So while there was a bit of a time lapse between the two, here we are. Cheers to my grandfather for paving the way and my dad for supporting it and suggesting the name--and reminding me of all this in June of 2026.

I may need to invest in some pens.
