WE HAVE A NEW GIANT IN THE HOUSE! (And it needs a name!)
Meet the newest member of the Flourish family! We just acquired this absolutely massive, jaw-dropping Monstera Thai Constellation to live here permanently as our ultimate store plant. ✨
How big is it, you ask? Some of these variegation-heavy leaves are OVER 4 FEET in diameter! It is a true gentle giant and photos just don’t do it justice.

COME SEE FOR YOURSELF!
We want you to experience this behemoth in person! Swing by the shop here in Petaluma to marvel at its size, snap a selfie with it, and see those gorgeous, starry variegated patterns up close. Trust us, standing next to a 4-foot leaf is something you have to experience!

Visit us: 5 4th Street Petaluma

Because this beauty is a permanent fixture of our shop, we can’t just call it "the big Thai." It deserves a name that matches its grand, celestial, and absolutely massive personality. 🦖
AND THAT’S WHERE YOU COME IN! 👇

What should we name this giant? Drop your best name ideas in the comments below (or tell us when you visit us in-store)!
Maybe something cosmic? Something grand? Or something just downright hilarious?
We’ll read through every single suggestion, pick our favorites, and let you all vote on the final winner. The person who submits the winning name will get a special Flourish prize next time they visit the shop! 🎉
Let’s hear ‘em! Ready, set, NAME THAT PLANT! 👇👇👇

Ditching the traditional pot?

We believe that plants aren't just greenery—they are Living Art. And if you want to elevate your space, sometimes you have to think outside the ceramic planter.

Enter the Kokedama. Translating to "moss ball" in Japanese, this centuries-old botanical art form completely eliminates the need for a pot. The plant's root system is carefully wrapped in a specialized soil mix, encased in lush sphagnum moss, and bound tightly with twine. The result is a striking, sculptural piece you can hang in the air or display in a shallow dish.

We just finished hand-crafting a fresh batch of these beauties using some stunning Monstera Deliciosas.

At Flourish, we do things a little differently than your typical plant shop. We hand-curate every specimen and are always looking for imaginative ways to showcase them. We want to help you bring true, living art into your home.
Come swing by the shop in downtown Petaluma to see these Monstera kokedamas up close—they are truly something you have to see in person to fully appreciate!

Come say hi and let’s talk plants!

A little about our new friends: Hand-poured in a Northern California studio, Duncans Mills Candle Company crafts stunning soy candles and botanical fragrances inspired by the natural beauty of the Sonoma Coast. You can read more about their craft here: https://www.duncansmillscandleco.com/.
But the best way to experience them is to smell them in person! Come by Flourish this week to discover your new favorite scent and see all the other wonderful local finds Dean and Katie have been bringing into the shop. We can't wait to see you!

We are asked again and again for plant stands. Unfortunately most of our vendors are either out of stock or carry stands that wobble and are not high quality. So we decided to scour the antique faire and find you sturdy wrought iron pieces we thought would look great in your space! Elevate your plants and space. Stop in soon, limited stock and each one is unique.
