We are currently without power with a downed power line in the back and loads of tree damage. Everyone is ok though 🙌

So the big question: horses in or out during a storm? Our guys can run into the barn if they want and I thought they’d be in when I went out to check them early this morning. They were out in the field, and honestly after looking at the neighbor’s barns (one lost a roof), I think they made the safest decision. My barn is OLD and I’m surprised it didn’t get damage.

Hope everyone else in KY is ok! We heard there was a tornado north of us. ❤️

Well at least our Night Check candle has notes that won’t make your eyes tear up: Jasmine, honeysuckle, neroli, and mandarin blossoms. Wish my barn currently smelled like that!

Binx no longer has to jump brightly colored poles and he made sure to remind me that today 🤦‍♀️ He does however have to deal with the wrath of a 7 year old… which is basically two minutes of a lazy trot and some treats afterwards. ❤️
