It took me years to learn this…

I used to think getting faster behind the chair meant moving quicker.

It doesn’t.

I only became fast at foiling when I became clean.

Clean partings.
Clean folds.
Intentional placement.

When every foil has a purpose, everything else falls into place. You spend less time fixing mistakes, less time second-guessing yourself, and more time creating beautiful hair.

People often ask how I can complete a full foil in about an hour.

The answer isn’t speed.

It’s precision.

Sometimes slowing down long enough to master the fundamentals is exactly what makes you faster in the end. 🤍

I got an amazing opportunity at the beginning of November to attend a 3 day cutting class at Sassoon in Toronto and it was amazing. I learned so much and had so much fun with my coworkers. Thank you for having us! I can’t wait to go back! 💕
