This is my birthday wish. I aspire to find like-minded individuals who are equally frustrated with the Phenix City government, particularly our mayor and city manager, due to their inaction and lack of progress in our city. Their tenure has been marked by a lack of meaningful contributions, and instead, they have taken from our community. As of today, I am initiating a new group, 'People of Phenix City, Alabama, Taking a Stand.' We will no longer tolerate the status quo and will exercise our constitutional right to demand change, effective immediately. To dismantle and hold accountable the Phenix City government, I am launching a petition on this day, June 6, 2025. Moving forward, we invite anyone interested in joining this initiative or sharing our frustration to contact us at their convenience.

And the new group will be called POPC

Well, hello everybody how are y’all doing? Geno’s from Geno’s trading Post, for those of you who don’t know where I am. I am in the old Dell Ranch building. I am open for business. I have plenty of inventory for everyone come on and take me out. Hell I’m might even give you a shout. So come on and explore all the vintage items. I have take you back to town. We wish we had. I want to invite everyone to come check out Geno’s trading post this Saturday. The first 10 customers will get 50% off on whatever they buy doors open at nine and closed. You never know until the last customer served.

To commence, I would like to recount an incident that transpired yesterday afternoon. I stopped by JR's restaurant and engaged in a conversation with a young lady at the register. I inquired about the availability of a sign, and she kindly informed me to hold on while she consulted with Miss Angie. Upon their confirmation, the young lady escorted me to the location of the sign and inquired if I desired the accompanying letters. I suggested returning the box to its original location outside. She graciously held the door open for me, and I proceeded to transport the items to my truck. I explained to her that I had a business nearby and would return to collect the sign after completing a task. Upon my return, I had to remove the lock from the chain, which I subsequently returned to the young lady. I spent approximately an hour on the premises, during which time no one inquired about my identity or the purpose of my visit. As I was loading the sign onto my truck, Miss Angie approached me and asked if I was Matt. I replied in the negative, and she explained that her grandson had arranged for someone to collect the sign. After the fact once I had it loaded on my trailer, I was informed of this. I then transported the sign to my business. Subsequently, I became aware of a Facebook post containing unflattering comments about me from an individual who is unfamiliar with me. I choose to forgive this person, as I believe their actions were misinformed. As a Christian, I believe it is essential to conduct oneself in a respectful and compassionate manner. I would like to extend an invitation to discuss the sign and resolve any misunderstandings in a civil and professional manner.
