Happy Black History Month 🖤

This year marks the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, so it felt important to honor that legacy with something special.

I love being a black woman creating, building, and pouring into my black-owned business. Instead of creating a full collection, I chose one bold candle. The Black Excellence candle was created to honor our history, highlight our power, and celebrate the excellence woven into who we are.

We are resilient.
We are unapologetic.
We are bold, innovative, and empowering.
Soft when we need to be, strong and unyielding when it matters most.

I was very intentional when choosing the scent. Honey for warmth and care, amber for depth and legacy, and tonka bean for strength and grounding. A candle that feels warm, bold, and powerful just like us.
