Finally learn how to extend the life of your clothes with this introduction to mending workshop. Bring that pile of ripped and torn garments youā€™ve been collecting over the years (with the best of intentions, of course!) and weā€™ll walk you through different ways to mend your items so they can go back into rotation!

Weā€™ll take a look at what everyone brings to mend and go over a variety of mending techniques for you to choose from. Possible techniques include patches, applique, reverse applique, visible mending, sashiko, etc. Plus, each registration includes one visible mending transfer from our friends at Approved Textiles!

Ya know those beautiful blocks youā€™ve been sending in for our monthly Quilt Block Drive for quilting4good ?! Hereā€™s some proof that theyā€™re actually getting finished up and donated āœØ SO many of you have been contributing to these quilts and we canā€™t thank you enough. Just last week, Susan of Q4G delivered NINETY-FIVE quilts which is putting Q4G close to hitting the 2026 goal of delivering 250 quilts this year!

Upcoming Class Spotlight:
Oct 12th / Nov 3rd with Krystle

You can wear your heart on your sleeve (or your chest!) after you join us in making our own upcycled garments to show how we really feel. Wear your new piece to the polls or just around town, make as many as you want!

Weā€™ll use techniques like raw edge applique, double sided fusible adhesives, and hand applique to upcycle our garments to give them new life. We encourage you to bring something you have already or thrift something for the occasion!
