Lost in space. Denoyer– Geppert 16 inch celestial table globe, Chicago 24 1/2“ x 22“ diameter, 1956 to 1960 heavy metal core, with printed paper calendar and zodiac on a wood horizontal band
The 1963 catalog from Denoyer- Geppert offered this celestial globe as their most expensive option- “show stars down to six magnitude on a light blue background. Epoque of 1930 map mounted on pole of equator”
Simple, and graphically impressive.

South American travel trunk or Petaca 12“ x 17“ x 26“ Aztec inspired stitched design on rawhide with hand forged iron c.1900
Trunks like these have been used for centuries to transport precious objects safely. The rawhide over wood structure has an unmatched strength and durability and were often favored over heavy traditional strong boxes.
