๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿฝ Iโ€™m excited to share work from a new series

๐Ÿฆ– โ€œRexโ€ uses my own Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) AI models to explore the role of the artist in the age of AI image generation, building on my prior works exploring the relationships between art and life

๐Ÿง  Socially conscious, this work responds to the surreality of reality. Depicting myself riding a ๐Ÿฆ–, it defies reality as a means of non-conformity, building upon my artist mythology as an agent of cultural change. As a contribution to the global imagination infrastructure, it invites you to consider the roles art and technology play in inspiring a brighter future

โณ The work is now available on my website as timed print and digital editions

๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ The first order was received this morning ๐ŸŽ‰ starting a 72-hour countdown to close the print edition on 6/30 at 9:40am ET โ€“ order your print before time runs out!

Grateful to have my work exhibited across 3 cities in the US and Canada today. All artworks employ "arroz con popote," the art medium I invented as a way to address LGBTQ+ issues through my own cultural perspective. The phrase is a Mexican euphemism for homosexuality. The work takes ownership of the phrase and serves as a platform for discussions on q***r and social themes.

NEW GROUP EXHIBITION ๐ŸŒˆ
โ€œAmorโ€ (2021) is part of WayGay on Display: Staff Picks and New Acquisitions from the Permanent Art Collection, a group exhibition on view at the William Way LGBT Community Center (waygayphilly) in through April 25th.

About the artwork:
โ€œAmorโ€ is a photograph inspired by Robert Indianaโ€™s 1966 โ€œLove.โ€ It depicts the Spanish word for love, amor, through a colorful arrangement of rice and red strawsโ€”a playful nod to โ€œarroz con popote,โ€ a Mexican euphemism for male homosexuality. This limited edition artwork is also in the collection of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in New York City and has been instrumental in sparking essential conversations on LGBT+ issues, fostering positive change through meaningful dialogue.
