She authored two books, including this one, as well as many pamphlets for Kraft on cheeses. The Cheese Cookbook combines unique cheese recipes with detailed directions. It lists popular cheeses and their uses, helpful hints to remember and recipes for every meal of the day, including desserts. A well-compiled and focused mid-century title on cheese, signed on the front free endpaper by the author. Complete and in very good condition.

Oscar Haimo was Founder and President of the International Bar Managers Association, which consisted and the LBMA in the United States. Oscar Haimo was also of Le Barman de France, United Kingdom Bartenders Guild Ex-President of the International Barmen Association, as well as honorary member of many other bar associations, guilds, and schools throughout the world. Haimo compiled this guide to create an internationally recognized standard for bartending. In this informative annual guide to bartending. He provides tips, quotes, and bar details for the bar manager and barmen alike. The main content of the book, however, is the list of hundreds of alphabetized cocktail recipes interspersed with witty poems and illustrations by the author. This guide was published annually in a De Luxe hardcover edition and a Regular softcover edition, this being the latter. With Southern Comfort ads on inside front and rear covers. Originally published annually in 1943, this early softcover edition was published in 1949. In very good condition.
