Project management goes far beyond ordering materials and keeping a schedule.

Over the years, we have carefully built and refined a trusted network of specialized tradespeople and artisans. Wallpaper installers, marble flooring specialists, engineers, cabinetry installers, stained glass artisans, and cushion makers are all selected for the quality of their craft, attention to detail, and reliability.

Our role is to thoughtfully assemble the right team for every project and coordinate each moving piece so the entire experience feels seamless and well considered.

In our we approached storage in three different ways. The homeowners wanted to include both antique furniture and modern conveniences for a layered cottage look.

1) We designed a custom island specifically for the size and look of this space, but the custom build was over budget. So we searched online and found a woodshop that made something quite similar for half the price. Score!

2) The new kitchen is open to the front living room, so hiding away small appliances was important to create a clutter-free space. The tall red appliance garage cabinet includes pocket doors and internal outlets, so the toaster and coffee maker are easy to access and to hide away.

3) The homeowners wanted to include antique furniture and they wanted to be involved in sourcing it. We sent them to our favorite spots in Lancaster County to find the perfect piece, a pie safe cabinet for storing dishes and food. Our team managed the delivery and some light refinishing. Leaded glass dates back centuries and was widely used in medieval churches and historic buildings before becoming popular in American homes in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Early glass was produced in relatively small panes, making leaded glass both a practical solution and a defining architectural detail.

It’s a feature we often see in Philadelphia’s historic rowhomes, where it brings in natural light while maintaining privacy.

We love incorporating leaded glass into historic homes because it honors the original craftsmanship while adding texture, light, and visual interest to a space.

We love clients with a strong vision. So, when the homeowners of our latest project , asked for a red kitchen filled with antique furniture and charming details, we were excited.

How did we tackle designing a red kitchen that doesn’t feel overwhelming and garish?

We wrapped the space in warm neutrals, created contrast with dark soapstone counters, and added brass accents for a classic touch. New stained wood doors and painted windows help anchor the vintage vibe while the corner dining nook adds cozy comfort.

Introducing our latest project, .

This corner banquette sits in what used to be the entire kitchen! We reworked the layout and moved the new kitchen into a large formal dining room. Our sweet clients, Pete and Jen loved the idea of moving the dining space into a cozy corner.
The custom banquette, upholstered by , has quickly become everyone’s favorite spot, including Levon (the cute dog baby). 🐾
