Dreifuss Fireplaces was established in Philadelphia in 1876, making it one of the oldest fireplace and hearth products companies in the country. There is a very good reason for our longevity. For almost 140 years, we have held to our original credo to put the customer first. We have done so, not simply by saying it in our advertisements and web pages, but by deed and action. When you go to our Product page, you will note that we have links to all major fireplace manufacturers, from whom we can promptly order items for your installation. This enables us to tailor your purchase to your needs, and runs the gamut of choices from modern linear gas fireplaces to wood-burning stoves or electric models. You can also save energy costs and contribute to a greener Earth by heating all or part of your home with qualifying wood- and pellet-burning appliances. If you are converting an existing fireplace, you can select from vented or vent-free gas log sets to direct vent gas inserts. We offer granite, marble and slate to dress up your fireplace, as well as mantels, glass doors, and accessories to finish the look.
