Greetings! My name is Matthew Reed, and I have a deep passion for food and cooking. Originally from Northeast Philadelphia, I now reside in south Jersey with my wonderful family. With 11 years of experience in the restaurant business, I have worked my way up from a dishwasher to become the head chef at a renowned establishment in Brooklyn. During my time there, I truly honed my culinary skills and developed a strong foundation in the art of cooking.
Due to the impact of Covid, I returned home and had the opportunity to collaborate with incredible individuals while immersing myself in the vibrant Philadelphia food scene. This experience allowed me to contribute to the opening of several establishments and further expand my knowledge.
Now, I am ready to embark on a new chapter and create something that is truly my own. Throughout my culinary journey, I have explored various cuisines, but it is the simple and soulful home cooking, inspired by my mother's delicious cutlets and meatballs, that holds a special place in my heart. I believe in using fresh vegetables, quality ingredients, and infusing each dish with a whole lot of love.
My goal is to elevate these beloved family recipes and bring the experience of restaurant-quality cooking directly to you. I want to share the joy of preparing and savoring meals that I personally enjoy cooking and creating.
