NEW Car Model Kit Release! - Atlantis 1/16 scale Rich Guasco’s Pure Hell Funny Car ( ) – Available Now!

The Pure Hell name was already famous before the Dodge Demon funny car, beginning with Rich Guasco’s wild AA/Fuel Altered from the 1960s. In the early 1970s, Guasco brought that same name, attitude, and showmanship into the funny car era with a purple Dodge Demon-bodied AA/FC. The car became a striking part of drag racing history and is remembered for its powerful appearance, Pure Hell graphics, and connection to legendary drivers and events.

This classic kit derives from the original Revell molds of the 1990s. This kit of more than 100 parts is 11.5 inches in length once assembled. Parts are molded in purple and white, with some chrome plated parts. Includes all-new decals to recreate the unmistakable Pure Hell racing graphics. The box art photo was taken by Ted Pappacena at the 1973 NHRA U.S. Nationals at Indianapolis Raceway Park, giving this release a direct connection to the golden age of funny car competition. This 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is based on the muscle car owned by the hunter Bobby Singer on the long-running Supernatural TV show! Every detail from Bobby Singer’s Chevelle is present in the kit including accurate decal markings and a detailed painting guide with tips on how to recreate this car’s weathered and rusted look as shown on the box art. Features accurate 1972 Chevelle Headlights and Grille and an opening hood reveals big block SS engine.

This kit of 115 parts is 7.5 inches in length once assembled. Parts are molded in white, clear, and transparent red with some chrome plated parts. Deluxe decal sheet includes striping, Chevelle SS badging and license plates. Also includes black vinyl tires and metal axle. This 2022 Corvette C8 is an electrifying custom release that blends exotic styling with the unmistakable Gulf heritage. NEW Helicopter Model Kit Release! – Trumpeter 1/35 scale Ka-52 Alligator Hokum B ( #705119) – Available Now!

The Russian Kamov Ka-52 Alligator is an all-weather twin-seat version, of the Ka-50 combat helicopter designed to attack armored and unarmored ground and low-speed air targets. Based on the Ka-50 airframe, the front fuselage section of the Ka-52 was redesigned to incorporate a two-seat side-by-side cockpit. The Ka-52 features a wider nose due to reduced cockpit armor and the nose-mounted radar. The 30mm cannon and six wing-mounted hardpoints of the Ka-50 were retained in the Ka-52. The helicopter has a catapult crew rescue system integrating an ejection and rocket-parachute. The Ka-52 has six external wing stores for anti-tank missiles, rockets and air-to-air missiles, and radar systems mounted on the nose respectively. Samsh*te night / daytime thermal sighting system is housed in spherical turrets below the nose.

This all newly tooled kit of over 410 parts is 16” in length with a rotorspan of 16.8” when completed. NEW N Scale Train Release! – KATO USA GG1 Electric Locomotives – Available Now!

The GG1, one of the PRR’s most famous and recognizable locomotives, is also one of the most curiously designed. Technically two locomotives under one shell (a “G” class locomotive is a 4-6-0 by PRR specification, therefore the GG1 was two “G” locomotives in a 4-6-0:0-6-4 arrangement). This added up to a 4.6k horsepower locomotive that was staggeringly powerful, even by today’s standards. Designed in the 20’s, built in 30’s, and not retired until the 80’s, the GG1 had an incredible lifespan and survives today as a testament to its time in both its unique Loewy-design and overwhelming performance. Thanks to the long life and usefulness of the GG1, many outlived the PRR, finding themselves in Penn Central – and later in their life, Amtrak – paint. These locomotives were used in everything from freight service to pulling Amtrak Passenger trains.
