After a loving and sensitive reconstruction of the Galasso's building (hat tip to architect Michael Margulies), our beloved and tireless Rosella Caloiero (of Frenchtown Café and Sky Café) is ready to open Piazzi, a 50-seat brick-oven pizza and Italian restaurant that pays homage to Rosella's parents' cuisine. Kudos to Rosella for buying the site when a developer was eyeing it for a three-story building. [48 Bridge].

The weather will be frightful and we want your experience to be delightful so tonight's music and activities have been cancelled.

That does not mean the seasonal fun is over, Saturday morning starting at 8 am is the SantaCon 8k and the Festival of Trees will be open Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m. with live music, Santa and Mrs. Claus for its last weekend.
