prepping for a fall market swap party, pt. 2 🍂☕️🧺

love having a crafty friend like Nichol Ge**er who is one of the only people I know willing & excited enough to crank out 30+ appliqué patches with me 😆🫶🏼 〰️

a walk through our playroom 🧸💛

this is a space that has stretched me creatively and brought so much joy! some staple pieces, a few DIYs, and some color and creativity have transformed it this past year. as it continues to evolve, I’m so excited to see what else we add (or take away) to continue to adapt it to Ollie and all the things he loves!

comment “PLAY” for links to our favorite pieces✨

save for your playroom project! 〰️

Some Homes May Look Boring.

a cheesy, but (hopefully) meaningful poem I wrote for anyone who gets discouraged by the progress that seems to happen everywhere except in their own spaces. as someone who has been there (and still is), this is my shared look of acknowledgement with you. that I know we see big transformations everywhere around us, and yet we feel like we’re at a standstill.

know that I’ll always push for small improvements here and there that bring joy to our spaces— but I also recognize that it’s not always that simple. I often need to remind myself (and now I’ll remind you too) that home is more than just four walls. it’s a feeling, and it starts with you. 🌷
