It’s that time of year again, Arizona! 🌵☀️

After spending the summer protecting my cacti from the intense Phoenix sun, I’m slowly moving them back into brighter spots as temperatures cool.

Just remember: even sun-loving cacti and succulents need time to adjust! Gradually increase direct sunlight to prevent sunburn, and keep in mind that some varieties still prefer partial shade.

Anyone else rearranging their plant collection for fall? 🌵

Found this set of galvanized planters and immediately pictured them overflowing with rainbow bush 🌿

It’s fun taking something simple and turning it into a piece that feels completely different once it’s planted.

She’ll be super pretty when the rainbow bush starts trailing over the edges 👀

Can’t believe I’m still waking up to my favorite blooms this late in the year 🤍🌵

My first thought was how special and lucky it was - then realized it’s most likely due to the fact that it’s still a million degrees in Phoenix in October. Sigh. 🙄

Using my therapist brain today and choosing to focus on how pretty it is, not the sweat, sunblock, and water I’m going through as I enjoy this 6 hour bloom. 🥵

Apparently I let this one go a little too long 😂🌿

This zebra plant had completely outgrown its pot — and once I got it out, there were babies EVERYWHERE.

Gave everyone a little more room to breathe, and now we get to see what they do. 🤍

Anyone else guilty of waiting way too long to repot?

Phoenix summers are tough on plants, but a few simple changes can help your succulent arrangements make it through the hottest months.

☀️ Bring succulent arrangements indoors in bright light.
🌵 Give cacti afternoon shade during extreme heat.
💧 Water deeply, then let the soil dry before watering again.

A little extra care now means they’ll be ready to thrive again when cooler weather returns.
