MESH MONDAY!

It’s Mesh Monday, which means NEW DESIGNS just dropped into the member library! 💕

If you’re not a member yet, you normally don’t get to see everything happening behind the scenes, so here’s your little peek inside. 👀

Every Monday, I release brand-new 3D designs exclusively for my members. Members can purchase the files, print them as many times as they’d like, and sell the physical prints commercially while their membership is active.

Print them and sell them as blanks. 🎨
Paint them and sell finished pieces. ✨
Make things for your own home. 🏠
Add 3D prints to the business you already have or literally build an entire business around them.

And here’s the big difference: I don’t sell my files to the general public.

You have to be a member to access them. That keeps my designs a little more exclusive and means you’re not buying the exact same files being sold to every person with a 3D printer on the internet.

Membership also includes access to our private group for printing help, Free Gift Fridays, monthly tutorials, plus member sales and file bundles throughout the year.

If you love those giant paint-your-own nutcrackers, I have four 36-inch designs available (with more designs coming soon!)

They arrive blank and ready for you to completely customize, you can paint them traditional, pastel, candy-colored, spooky, glittery… whatever fits your style.

Each nutcracker is 36 inches tall and has poseable arms, so you can adjust the arms after assembly.

📦 They ship in ONE box! Your nutcracker arrives strategically separated into the hat, head, torso, arms, legs, shoes, and platform. Paint your pieces first, then assemble them using Gorilla Glue or tacky glue.

And this part is important to me: I professionally designed these specifically for 3D printing at this size. I didn’t just take a giant model and chop it into pieces wherever it happened to fit on a printer.

The separation points are intentionally placed within the design to hide the seams. You won’t have a seam running straight through the middle of your nutcracker.

Once assembled, they look like one beautiful, cohesive 3-FOOT-TALL statement piece. 💕

They come UNPAINTED, so the finished look is completely up to you. Use regular craft paints just as people do with the Walmart Nutcrackers

If you’re brand new to 3D printing, welcome! 🩷

One of the most common questions I get is:
“What is an STL?”

The answer is simple…
An STL is a 3D model file that contains the shape of an object, not colors or any print settings. 3MFs do that, but we can ttalk about 3MFs in another post.

Think of an STL as an unpainted clay sculpture. The sculpting is finished, but the details are up to you!
Once you’ve downloaded your STL, you can:

✨ Print it in any filament color you like.
🎨 Print and Paint it with acrylic paints.
🖤 Leave it exactly as it is for a clean, modern look.

Many people see colorful renderings and assume the colors are included in the file. They’re not! Those photos simply show one example of how the finished print can look.

Why is STL the industry standard?
STLs have been the standard file format for 3D printing for many years because they’re simple, reliable, and work with virtually every FDM printer and slicer.

They contain only the 3D shape of the model, giving you complete freedom to decide how you want to finish it. Many models do require post-printing sanding and filling because supports can leave scars on the print, and because FDM printers have limitaions with rounded surfaces.

So think of an STL as the sculpture itself. The color and finishing touches are where your creativity comes in.

Creating colored 3MF’s are a completely different, time-consuming workflow and take significantly longer to print depending on how many colors there are and how those colors overlap on the model.

My workflow focuses on creating clean, optimized models that print well. That means I can release lots of new designs every month, while users get the freedom to finish them however they’d like.

Think of it this way…
If you wanted to make a clay pumpkin, or cake, or doll, you’d spend hours sculpting it before you ever picked up paints, fake eyes, glitter embellishments, etc.

With 3D printing, your printer does all of that sculpting for you! Instead of spending hours building the shape from scratch, you can jump straight to the fun parts.

The painting, decorating, and making it your own.

Whether you’re printing for fun, decorating your home, or building a business selling physical prints, that’s one of the biggest advantages of 3D printing. It lets you create beautiful handmade products much faster than sculpting each one by hand.
