Things I would never say as a designer ✨

1. “Eyeballing is fine”
→ Precision matters. Even small alignment issues can completely throw off a space.
2. “Scale doesn’t matter”
→ The wrong furniture size can make a room feel cramped, empty or awkward.
3. “Lighting doesn’t affect color”
→ Natural and artificial lighting can completely change how materials and paint look.
4. “Let’s skip measurements”
→ Measurements are everything when planning layouts, cabinetry, clearances and functionality.
