Happy Birthday Rahma S. Salie😭🎂
😭😭🎂🕯️ Happy Birthday
September—9/11. Always Remembered💔🖤
Rahma S. Salie (1973–2001) was a passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 11, the first aircraft hijacked during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. A graduate of Wellesley College and chief operating officer of a technology company in the Boston area, Rahma was traveling to California with her husband, Michael Theodoridis, when their flight was hijacked and crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. She was 28 years old.

Born to a Sri Lankan family and raised in Japan, Rahma was known for her intelligence, kindness, and deep faith. Friends, family, and colleagues remembered her as a compassionate and thoughtful person who brought warmth and encouragement to those around her. At the time of the attacks, she was seven months pregnant with the couple’s first child, and she and Michael were eagerly looking forward to becoming parents.

The loss of Rahma, Michael, and their unborn child remains one of the many heartbreaking stories of September 11. Her memory continues to be honored through memorials, tributes, and the lasting impact she had on those who knew and loved her. On her birthday, we remember Rahma not only as a victim of tragedy, but as a beloved daughter, wife, friend, and expectant mother whose life touched many others. Happy Birthday Lt. Vernon Allan Richard 😭🎂
😭😭🎂🕯️ Happy Birthday
September—9/11. Always Remembered💔🖤
Vernon Allan Richard was a respected member of the New York City Fire Department and the officer in charge of Ladder Company 7 in Manhattan on the morning of the September 11, 2001 attacks. Raised in Brooklyn, he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era before joining the FDNY in 1977. Throughout nearly twenty-four years of service, he became known for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to training younger firefighters, earning the admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

On September 11, 2001, Lt. Richard responded with his company to the World Trade Center following the terrorist attacks. Like hundreds of other firefighters and first responders, he entered the towers to help those in danger. He never returned. He was 53 years old when he lost his life in the line of duty. In recognition of his extraordinary service and sacrifice, the FDNY later promoted him posthumously to the rank of Captain.

Captain Richard's legacy continues through the people he mentored and the lives he touched. In 2016, the FDNY High School for Fire and Life Safety in Brooklyn was renamed in his honor as the Captain Vernon A. Richard High School for Fire and Life Safety. Remembered as a gentle giant, devoted firefighter, veteran, husband, father, and friend, he remains one of the 343 FDNY members who gave their lives while serving others on September 11, 2001. His courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — Never Forget — a day we will always remember 🇺🇸🕊️A day of sorrow, strength, and unity — never forget 🖤💔

😭😭😭The footage place of the woman trapped on the wall of World Trade Center during attacked.......

American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 were hijacked and deliberately flown into the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. At 8:46 a.m., Flight 11 struck the North Tower, causing a massive explosion, extensive structural damage, and intense fires fueled by jet fuel. Thousands of people inside the building were suddenly placed in danger as smoke, debris, and damaged infrastructure affected multiple floors.

At 9:03 a.m., Flight 175 crashed into the South Tower, creating a dramatic fireball visible across New York City and to television audiences around the world. The second impact confirmed that the United States was facing a coordinated terrorist attack. As conditions deteriorated, office workers, visitors, and emergency personnel confronted an increasingly dangerous and complex situation within both towers.

Firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other first responders rushed to the scene to assist with evacuation and rescue efforts. Despite hazardous conditions, they worked to help those trapped or injured inside the buildings. The attacks on the Twin Towers became a defining moment in modern history, resulting in profound loss of life and leaving a lasting impact on the United States and the world. 🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — Never Forget — a day we will always remember 🇺🇸🕊️A day of sorrow, strength, and unity — never forget 🖤💔

😭😭😭 On September 11, 2001, the passengers and crew aboard United Airlines Flight 93 were ordinary people traveling from Newark, New Jersey, to San Francisco, California, when their aircraft was hijacked as part of the coordinated terrorist attacks carried out that morning. The flight became one of four commercial airliners seized during the attacks, which also targeted the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.....

After learning through phone calls that other hijacked aircraft had already struck their targets, passengers and crew members began contacting family members, friends, and authorities. These conversations provided critical information about the unfolding attacks and revealed that the hijacking was part of a larger, coordinated assault on the United States. Their calls remain among the most important firsthand accounts from that day.

Faced with the reality of the situation, passengers and crew worked together and attempted to regain control of the aircraft from the hijackers. At 10:03 a.m., Flight 93 crashed into a field near Shanksville. The actions of those aboard are widely remembered for their courage and determination, and their sacrifice remains an enduring part of the history and remembrance of September 11, 2001. 🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — Never Forget — a day we will always remember 🇺🇸🕊️A day of sorrow, strength, and unity — never forget 🖤💔
