Enjoy a little behind-the-scenes look at me experimenting to find the perfect tile color. 🎨✨

I’ve been working on this for a while, and it’s pretty incredible how much trial, error, and patience it takes to create a color that stays consistent from tile to tile. I haven’t figured it out perfectly yet, but I’m not giving up. Eventually, I’ll find the process that gives me the exact color I’m working toward.

This is what handcrafted looks like: experimenting, adjusting, learning, and trying again until it feels right.

There’s always something happening behind the scenes at this humble little design studio. 🎨✨

From packing orders and dreaming up our next wallpaper design to sourcing the perfect paints, furniture, and products for your DIY projects, no two days look quite the same. And, of course, there’s the occasional battle with the wallpaper printer, which seems to choose chaos about once a week. 😅 We’ve even been in the middle of moving studios!

Press ESC started as a dream project and has become such a meaningful outlet for my creativity. Getting to provide you with the products and tools you need to transform your walls into a space that tells your story makes all the moving parts worth it. 🏡🎨
