We’ve all had a moment where we used clip art to find it was actually not free use and most of us have tried in this digital age to respect arts origins. There seems to be quite a few people who build stores based on designs they find on temu / AliExpress / etc to resell even though it’s a direct rip of someone locals art. There’s also quite a few people who full steal ideas because they see it as profit. It’s deters many of us from making art at all. Why would we when someone’s just going to steal and remake it as they wish? My designs are stolen and sold by the thousands at places like Urban outfitters, wish, SHEIN, AliExpress, Amazon etc. Just in typing this temu sold 35 more piece of my work without my consent. I really hope we collectively start to respect art and handmade items more in this age of consumption. Consumerism has blinded so many and it breaks my heart.
