Our Scallop Shell Pillar after 50 hours and after 75 hours.

75 hours of the dripless, golden glow that only pure beeswax can provide.

The same pillar in soy would burn for ~60 hours. In paraffin, even less, around 50-55 hours.

Beeswax burns cleaner, brighter and longer. It’s better for you, better for the bees, and better for the planet.

The shell pattern was made by pressing scallop shells into clay. The texture shines through the glowing walls as the candle burns down.

When we were designing serveware for the restaurant, a real te****le was given to us for inspiration and design.

At Le Bernardin, the stainless-steel te****le that we crafted held a piece of fish for their canope service.

At Artifaqt, we use it as a chopstick rest.

A couple weeks ago, we had the idea of repurposing an old design for a new task.

We have burned incense in the woodshop for many years. Often my dad pairs this with putting on his curated playlist, “calm the beast.” We were using a small piece of red maple burl as an incense holder. Now, it’s blackened stainless steel.

The Octopus Te****le Incense Holder is available on our site!

Let’s do something fun. A GIVEAWAY of one of our favorite products - the carved dish (and two walnut candles!).

All you have to do is tag TWO BUSINESSES that you think should carry our beeswax candles. Cafes, grocery stores, home decor + design, garden centers, bookstores, florists, cheese shops, farm stands, and so on. Near or far...

Long before the candles, the Michelin restaurants and even the Disney days, my dad was a sign maker. Carving wooden signs for local businesses. This dish carries that history to your tabletop. You can serve up your favorite snacks with a story.

I’ll randomly select a winner at 3pm on Saturday.

The dish is 7” wide and crafted from Pennsylvania Walnut. The candles were molded from walnuts from our friends at

Found these old newspaper articles on my dad tucked away in a drawer.

Tower for Two?

This three-tiered serving tower is the original prototype of what we made for about ten years ago.

At the NYC wine bar, they have 4-tiered towers with half circle Matte Black Metal inserts.

The vertical design and rounded platters allow you to elevate your presentation while maximizing tablespace.

The Tower is making a return to our website soon.

The small specks you see on these apple candles aren’t air bubbles. As I just learned on Google, they are called “lenticels,” which are tiny, natural pores in the skin that act as “nostrils” allowing the fruit to take in oxygen and expel carbon dioxide.

When we were making the production molds of these apples, I realized the master had lost the lenticles so the resulting molds did as well. We cast a new master and remade all of the molds.

The details matter. The lenticles matter.

We are able to capture this fine detail because we cast each and every candle under 40 pounds of pressure.
