Today Only! 🖤

10x10x2 Mini’s -$100
___
I’m opening up orders for these minis before I close this series permanently. I don’t have to tell you how deeply this series feels for me, I have gotten to listened to your stories and how this piece makes you feel. That’s why I chose to open up my space and create once more for Gods glory and your hearts.

Reach out to me and I’ll create specifically for you and pray over each unique piece.
I will close this special tonight and the series “Saved” will come to an end. This series has not only made me feel more confident in my expressionist work but seasoned me as an artist. I am forever grateful to my savior and blessed to create with him.

You know I never used to speak up in fear I would ruffle some feathers. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Our children’s lives are at stake. It’s truly hard to think about let alone research but if these little souls have to live through it then the least I can do is talk about it.
😔
This was hard for me but I have learned the countless ways of pedophiles ra**ng and torturing children. Enslaving, sacrificing, be******ty, and other unspeakable acts. Yet some are trafficked right in front of us, going into hotel rooms, bathroom stalls and after rewarded with ice cream or gifts. Creating mental trauma and distrust among adults so they never speak up. With this momentum now it’s important we do our own research and find ways to help these children. If you are local to please join me tonight at at 6:00 to walk for awareness or learn how to take action. Small steps can make a big impact by simply sharing a post you are making a difference!
🖤
Until now I stayed in my own happy bubble, I shared mainly about personal highs and lows, family and friends. Which is funny because I’ve always been an outspoken person, I just wanted people to think the best of me.
This year I’ve realized I have a voice that serves a purpose greater. That can be used to speak out worldwide beyond my small town. Im using that voice.

This 36x48 is available! 🔥

Titled “His infinite love” this big beauty was the first piece completed in the new studio and holds a large part of me. I’ve held on to her for for a while now but I finally feel ready to let her go live on in a home she is cherished and loved.

Which palette do you prefer warm or cool?

I’m working on a cool commission up next but in the mean time, I’m also being inspired by warm corals and earth tones....we will see what comes from it. 🤔

Here is a peek at the new furniture that’s making its way onto the studio!

Jumping back into the studio excited to work with my paints again! 🎨

My current commission has been a labor of love, I’m working on a illustration piece so I’ve been working from inside my home.

Starting a new commission shortly and I’ll be back in the studio. A few changes are happening in here, working on some projects and moving in furniture! Yay!

“His Infinite Love” - 36”x48”
_
It’s no secret I’ve been struggling here lately and so many of you have also.
This has hit us mentally and physically, isolation doesn’t come easy to all of us. I’m a homebody at heart but I still need space to stretch out and escape.
_
Last night I walked into my studio space and felt a sense of urgency to work out my emotions. This piece here has a lot of layers, some bad, good, ugly, bright, you name it. I wrote down my fears and deepest thoughts I wouldn’t even say out loud. This piece holds all of my hurt, but it symbolizes growth.
_
You see this is the first piece I started in my new studio and I had no idea it would be finished during a world wide crisis. I know without a doubt God’s timing is everything and all of these things going on are supposed to happen for his greater good.
So I titled this piece “His Infinite Love” because through the tough times we need to feel them, express them and learn from them. His love is everlasting. As we continue to turn the chapter in this story and the world comes together again His love has always be constant.

I hope this can provide a little distraction from the chaos and shed some light on your day! 💖

Really, how are you feeling?
____
Honestly with this corona virus going around I have found a still peace inside and I’m taking it with me day by day.
I refill my tank in the evenings when the kids go down and I can escape into the studio. It takes all my fear and anxiety away, I can rest assure God meets me there to release it all to him. During times like this I stand on his promise of security but also give my gratitude for all I do have, not focusing on the things I don’t.
_
So on a lighter note I want to share my go to quiet time tricks!

•I use my essential oils or light a pretty candle to help activate all my senses.
•Slip on my cozy clothes, slippers and get comfy.
•Meditate and just sit in the moment. Being fully present and letting myself go connecting to the source.
•Read a book or practice painting to let my mind freely wonder.
_
I encourage you to find the joy in these uncertain times, it’s a much better way to get through them because we will get through them together!
_
Do you have any quiet time go-to’s?

Pulling this from the archives to share a side of me you don’t normally see here.
🙈
I’m kinda just a tad awkward...
okay like a lot awkward!
Double tap in you’re the same way! 💁🏻‍♀️
I mean, if I see you in person I’ll try my best and often times I hide it well but I’m sure if we hung out longer than just in passing, it would slip out!
_
I truly believe it’s the creative spirit in me, I have a lot going on in my head and it doesn’t always come out the right way! Haha
Taking this into my art it’s the same thing, I often lay everything out on the canvas and it doesn’t always work out but that’s my favorite part. Steps, layers, emotion, connection, and awkwardness all wrapped up in my paintings and that’s what I love about being an artist. 🖤
