8 months of Rosie 🤍

Today I cried while Rosie sat on my lap and I listed to ‘Make You Feel My Love’ by Adele.
Jordan and I have the sweetest baby in the entire world, I’ll never know how we got this lucky.

Rosie’s first two teeth have finally popped, she hates when we try to look at them, we call them her private teeth lol
She’s happily using those new choppers to eat everything we will offer her. I was shocked to find out she absolutely loves tuna salad…but she won’t eat a raspberry…make it make sense 🤣

She is so close to crawling and gets endlessly frustrated that she’s not officially on the move. Edy gives her the most motivation to get moving. With just a little support she stands up. She wobbles around like a little noodle but she is getting stronger everyday!

I love how much hair she has…I know, I know, it’s not that much. But I can basically put it in a ponytail because it’s growing sooooo fast! I can’t wait for her update photo to include a little waterspout on top of her head!

Every morning when we get her out of bed we are greeted with an ear to ear grin and a gleeful screech getting our day started in the right note.

She still stands firmly against sleep which is…an unpopular opinion in this house BUT she’s endless happy which makes it all ok.

Meet Sonja.

Yesterday I found this incredibly sweet girl abandoned on the side of the road. I have been calling rescues all over SC to the last 24hrs and she has been turned away by everyone. She is pregnant with at least three puppies but otherwise in good health. The vet estimated she was between 3-4 years old, has been pregnant before, and has excellent oral hygiene (go Sonja 🪥) this girl is SO SWEET, she love attention and stays right by your side. If I had a good environment for her I would keep her in a heartbeat, unfortunately with a new baby and a wildcard dog of my own, my home is not conducive to her long term happiness and safety.

If you have ANY resources that I could connect with to get her safely transferred out of state or into a reputable foster home in the Greenville area I would be beyond grateful. Even if it’s just a contact of someone who may be able to connect me with another rescue. Sonja is so gentle and kind, she deserves a chance at a happy life and certainly deserves better than the cards she’s been dealt.
