🌿 The Story Behind Harmony & Bliss 🌿

Harmony & Bliss, Crafts & Designs began almost by accident—and with a little help from someone special.

It started with a fall pumpkin wood craft that I wanted to make for my own home. I asked my cousin if he could help me bring the idea to life, and he graciously helped me make it and get started. The pumpkin turned out beautifully, and I loved not only the finished piece, but also the process of creating it.

Then, at Christmastime, I made a wooden snowman and realized just how much I truly enjoyed crafting. One project led to another, but I will always be grateful to my cousin for helping me take those first steps. Without his help and encouragement, Harmony & Bliss may never have begun.

Creating soon became more than simply making something pretty. It became almost like therapy for me—a peaceful place where I could slow down, quiet my mind, and lose myself in the creative process. In crafting, I found calm. I found peace. I found harmony and bliss—and that is how the name Harmony & Bliss came to be.

What began with a pumpkin, a snowman, and a helping hand gradually grew into a small business and a way for me to create warm, meaningful pieces for other people’s homes, too.

Each piece is thoughtfully planned and created with lots of time, care, and creativity. From choosing the artwork, colors, and materials to trying different ideas and adding the finishing details, I always want everything I create to be the very best I can make it—and something you’ll be proud to display in your home.

I’m continually learning new crafting skills and techniques through creative learning communities and other educational opportunities. As I learn and grow, I enjoy applying those skills to my work, experimenting with fresh ideas, and finding new ways to improve the quality and character of each piece.

I don’t usually craft in large batches. Instead, I create whatever inspires me at the time. Because of that, many of my pieces are truly one of a kind. Occasionally, I may make a few similar items when an idea especially inspires me, but the handmade details give each one its own special character.

Harmony & Bliss isn’t about mass production. It’s about inspiration, creativity, continued learning, and thoughtfully creating special pieces with heart.

These sweet handmade fall brooms are filled with warm farmhouse charm! Each one features a stained wooden handle, a full raffia broom base, and a layered, hand-tied bow made with muted pumpkin, creamy yellow, and black checked fabrics. 🍂 A Sweet Little Touch of Autumn 🍂

Another cozy pumpkin wall decor, filled with warm autumn colors and soft farmhouse charm! The pumpkin-and-floral print is layered over dark olive-green fabric with softly frayed edges, then mounted on a distressed sage-green wooden board for a wonderfully warm and timeworn look.

A sawtooth hanger will be added to the back so it can be hung on the wall, or it can be displayed on a small easel as a shelf sitter.

I just finished these warm and welcoming autumn lantern pieces! Each one features a beautiful pumpkin-and-lantern canvas print on softly frayed fabric, accented with antique-brass tacks and mounted on a distressed black wooden board. They have such a cozy, timeworn farmhouse look for fall!

A sawtooth hanger on the back makes them ready to hang, but they can also be displayed on an easel or leaned against a wall on a shelf or tabletop.

Here’s a sweet little patchwork autumn cutting board! I love the mix of warm fall colors, the patchwork pumpkin, and the soft plaid fabric bow and hanger. This mini may be small in size, but it’s filled with sweet autumn charm and has such a warm, cozy, welcoming feel!

I just finished another vintage-style pumpkin breadboard!

I really love the old-fashioned mercantile look of this one. The large pumpkin, rich fall colors, striped bottom, and rustic bow give it such a warm, old-fashioned fall feel!

It measures approximately 16” tall (including the handle), 11” wide, and ¾” thick. It can be hung on a wall or displayed as a leaner on a shelf, mantel, kitchen counter, or coffee bar.

I just finished this vintage-style pumpkin breadboard. I love all the colors of fall, and this one reminds me of everything I love about the season!

The mix of soft pumpkins, orange polka dots, rustic ribbon, and the little “Sweet Autumn” accent gives it such a warm and cozy fall look.

I spent some time at my booth at Timeless Treasures Vendors Mall today doing a little rearranging and adding a few new things!

I brought in some makeshift risers to give me a little more display space, moved things around, and added several of the pieces I’ve been working on lately. It’s still a work in progress, and I have more things I’ll be adding as I get them finished, but I got quite a bit done today!

I’m learning as I go with this little booth of mine—figuring out what works, what needs moved, and how I want everything displayed.
